カワムラソゥイングでは、通常ヴィンテージの着物生地を使った制作をしています。

現在の居住地、愛知県は古くから繊維業の盛んな地域です。その中でも偶然にもご縁があるいくつかの素材を少しずつピックアップしていこうと思います。（例えば、父が携わってきた毛織物、親戚が関わってきた木綿産業）三河木綿は愛知県三河地方で生産される綿製品です。三河縞などと呼ばれる縞模様の生地などがあります。

コンスタントに仕入れられる素材ですので定番商品として制作しています。完成品の在庫がない場合は受注制作(3週間ほど)で販売します。

At KAWAMURA Sewing, I usually use vintage KIMONO fabrics for our creations.

In Aichi Prefecture, where I currently live, the textile industry has been thriving since long ago. I decided to pick up those fabrics that I feel I have a connection with, such as woolen fabrics that my father was involved in and the cotton industry that my relatives have been involved in. 

MIKAWA cotton is a cotton product produced in the Mikawa region of Aichi Prefecture. It is famous for its striped fabric, called MIKAWA-stripe.

This material can be purchased consistently, so I am producing it as a regular item. If the finished product is not in stock, it will be sold on a made-to-order basis. (3 weeks).
